Fourth Sunday of Advent (B) – Dec 20th, 2020

  1. We pray that the Church may be quiet enough to hear God’s voice, humble enough to move in God’s way, and excited enough to spread the good news.

  2. We pray that all who lead may do so with integrity and respect for others; that those in positions of authority may be blessed with humility and a sense of right; that unjust practices may be changed for good and conflicts of great tension be peacefully resolved.

  3. May our homes be places of loving acceptance and developing faith; in all our friendships may we learn to grow in generosity of spirit.

  4. When the waiting is long and painful, may all who have to wait be given patience and courage; may those who are wounded, whether physically or emotionally, be granted healing and the assurance of God’s presence.

  5. May those who have died to this life, and whose hope is in the Lord, be welcomed into eternity. May those who mourn them be comforted, and their pain be touched by the divine love.
