We pray for all who celebrate the Eucharistic mysteries, all who administer the sacrament of the body and blood of Christ, and all who receive it, day by day, week by week and year by year. Through the loving nature of this feeding may we all grow in holiness and bring Christ’s life to all we meet.
We pray that all who know their hunger and thirst for real feeding may find the spiritual nourishment they crave, and receive new and satisfying life through Christ our Lord. We pray that the world may know God’s love for it.
We pray for the spiritual feeding of our families, and our parish family, through word and sacrament; may we daily draw closer to the God who loves us, and our lives become increasingly filled with his life as we feed on him.
We pray for those who, through frailty or illness, receive the sacrament in their homes or in the hospital; for all who are malnourished or starving, whether physically, emotionally or spiritually.
We pray for those who have died, that in mercy they may be brought into the eternal joy of heaven.
